Wistaria Thrift Shop Re Opens Sept 3

The Wistaria Thrift Shop, run by Sierra Madre Woman’s Club,
will have its grand re-opening Thursday, September 3, from
10 a.m. to 3 p.m. The shop is located at the
historic clubhouse, 550 w. Sierra Madre Blvd., Sierra Madre.
Closed over summer for refurbishing and restocking, now a
large inventory of all new merchandise will be on sale.
Shoppers will find
bargains on household items, glassware, linens,
clothing for all family members, craft supplies, gift collectibles
and much more. With Halloween not far off and you need a
Halloween costume, put something together
In these tough times the shop is the place for the smart shopper to
a safari of savings on good merchandise.
Regular shop hours are; Monday, Thursday, Friday and the first
month from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. The shop phone is

The club was first organized in 1907 and for over 50 years
they have operated the shop as its main source of income .
