La Salle’s Allie Forillo Breaks Two Strikeout Records

On Thursday May 6, La Salle senior Allie Forillo broke the 10-year-old single season strikeout record of 248 Ks held by Caty Beaston, a 2000 La Salle graduate. Allie entered the game Thursday against St. Bernard’s High School with 240 Ks and struck out nine straight to break the record. She ended up with 13 strikeouts for the day and a new single season record of 252 strikeouts. Allie also broke Kathleen Salvo’s (’04) career strikeout record of 566 on April 15.
