Frank Finch joined all the saints in heaven on Aug. 13, in Spokane, Wash.
He was born April 15, 1916 in Chinook, Mont., to Clarence and Bertha (Mang) Finch, the oldest of five children.
Finch went to Diesel School in Los Angeles and when the US entered WWII, due to his knowledge of “supercharging,” he was recruited by Lockheed Aircraft to work on the experimental flight line for the P-38 fighter plane.
Following the war, he went to work as a service manager for a Studebaker Dealership in LA. He married Vida Langenheder and they had two children, Nina and Gary. The family lived in Glendale, until 1957 when they moved to Spokane.
Following the death of Vida, Finch married Clairinda (Borgens) Beilstein in 1984 and they lived in Sierra Madre for many years, until moving to Spokane in December 2012.
Finch was preceded in death by both Vida and Clairinda, brothers Bill and Ray, and grandson David Beegle. He is survived by his children, Nina (Michael) Beegle, Spokane; Gary (Virgie) Finch, Spokane; Karol McQueary, Redondo Beach; Karl (Debra) Beilstein, Big Bear; Gretchen (Tim) Ramey, Mead, Wash.; Kurt (Jana) Beilstein, Colbert, Wash.; and Eric (Tonya) Beilstein, San Dimas; sister Martha Bonebright, Havre, Mont.; brother Alfred Finch, Chinook, Mont.; and numerous nieces and nephews.
