Marsha Louise Ingrao (La Lone), a life-long resident of Sierra Madre, passed away peacefully on Thursday, July 21 at home with her family.
Born in 1944 in Pasadena, Ingrao received an associate degree from PCC. She loved spending time at the beach and socializing with friends at high tea.
Ingrao loved reading, puzzles, long walks, and especially children. She had an infectious laugh and a smile that could light up a room.
Ingrao is survived by her mother, two children, six grandchildren, and a close-knit extended family.
Services will be private. There will be a special gathering with family and friends at the home of Lynda Canzoneri (121 S. Lima St., Sierra Madre) on Aug. 20, from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m.
Memorial gifts will be dedicated to the Sierra Madre Search and Rescue Team and Sierra Madre Library.
