Sierra Madre Crime Blotters: March 4 – March 9

March 4

An injury traffic collision involving a vehicle and a pedestrian occurred at about 6:05 p.m., in the 00 block of West Sierra Madre Boulevard. The pedestrian was treated by the Sierra Madre Paramedics at the scene and later transported to a local hospital for further treatment.

March 6

Between 2:45-4:15 p.m., a petty theft occurred in the 300 block of West Highland Avenue. An unknown suspect(s) entered the victim’s garage (accessible to the public) and took a bicycle and a bicycle trailer. The suspect(s) then fled in an unknown direction by unknown means. The total loss was estimated to be about $850. The case was referred to detectives.

March 9

A residential burglary occurred in the 300 block of North Sunnyside Avenue between the hours of 5:30-6 p.m. The case to was referred to detectives pending further investigation.
