Sierra Madre Crime Blotters: Oct. 23 – Oct. 27

Oct. 23

Officers responded to a call in the 100 block of Santa Anita Court at about midnight of a disturbance by a male and female heard yelling at each. Following an interview of both subjects, officers determined there was no violation.

Oct. 24

Sometime between 2:45 p.m. and 4 p.m., an unknown suspect(s) stole a Trek bicycle from the victim’s driveway in the 100 block of South Hermosa. The total loss value was approximately $800. Case referred to detectives.

Oct. 25

At about 9:12 a.m. officers were dispatched to a call for service of a male individual trespassing on school property. The subject was located in a vehicle parked next to the school that was occupied by two other female occupants. After conducting an investigation, drug paraphernalia was located inside the vehicle. The male and one female were arrested and transported to the Pasadena jail. Case referred to DA’s office.

Oct. 27

Officers conducted a traffic stop at about 9:42 p.m. in the 100 block of West Grandview Avenue for a vehicle code violation. Upon further investigation, it was determined that the driver of the vehicle was driving while under the influence of alcohol. The driver was arrested and transported to a local hospital for medical clearance where he was later cited and released to on-duty medical staff. Case referred to DA’s office.
