A vehicle was stopped at about 8:07 p.m. for a vehicle code violation in the area of Santa Anita and Grandview avenues. Following a field sobriety test, the driver was found to be impaired due to alcohol. The driver was also driving with a license suspended for a previous DUI. The driver was arrested and transported to the Pasadena Jail and his vehicle was impounded. The case was sent to the DA’s office.
Officers responded to a call of a hit and run traffic collision at Lima Street and Highland Avenue. Officers were able to locate the suspect and his vehicle at a different location. The man was under the influence of alcohol and was subsequently arrested with his vehicle being impounded. The subject was arrested and transported to the Pasadena Jail. The case was sent to the DA’s office.
Officers were dispatched to a call of a burglary from a vehicle in the 400 block of West Sierra Madre Boulevard at around 3:58 p.m. Unknown suspect(s) smashed the front passenger window and took a gym bag and gym clothes from the front seat. The case was referred to detectives.
A theft from an unlocked vehicle was reported to have occurred in the rear carport in the 400 block of West Sierra Madre Boulevard between Thursday, Sept. 27at about 3 p.m. and Friday, Sept. 28 at about 7:30 a.m.
At approximately 10 a.m. officers responded to the 600 block of West Sierra Madre Boulevard for a tampering vehicle report. An unknown suspect(s) shattered the victim’s driver side passenger window with an unknown object. Items taken were approximately 15 Trader Joe’s grocery bags from the rear passenger seat.
