Sierra Madre Crime Blotters: Sept. 3 – Sept. 9

Sept. 3

Sometime between 6:30 p.m. on Sept. 2 and 1:20 p.m. on Sept. 3, an unknown suspect(s) vandalized a vehicle by smashing the rear passenger side window. Nothing appeared to have been stolen.

At 10:49 p.m. a female was contacted in the 00 block of South Baldwin Avenue and subsequently arrested for being in possession of methamphetamine and drug paraphernalia. The female was transported to the Pasadena Jail for booking.

Sept. 6

At about 8:15 a.m. a theft from an unlocked vehicle was reported to have occurred in the 600 block of West Sierra Madre Boulevard. An unknown suspect(s) stole two credit cards and attempted to make two separate purchases in the city of Pasadena, but was unsuccessful. At this time the only loss are the two credit cards. The case has been referred to detectives

Sept. 7

Between 8:00 a.m. and 5:15 p.m., an unknown suspect(s) entered a residence in the 600 block of West Highland Avenue by smashing a rear window. It was unknown what property, if any, was stolen at the time of this report. The case is pending awaiting further information.

Sept. 9

Officers responded to a male sleeping in the middle of the street in the 100 block of East Highland Avenue. After further investigation it was determined that the male subject was intoxicated and unable to care for himself. A records check revealed the subject had an active warrant out of Sierra Madre. The subject was arrested, transported and released at Pasadena Jail.
